Submit Bonds
For bail-bond agents

Verified once. Trusted every submission.

Submit bonds to participating jails through one verified platform.

Submit Bonds has been moving bonds from cell to court for participating Florida agents since 2019. Identity verified once at signup. License monitored daily. Signature applied automatically. Less paper, fewer rejections, faster releases.

What you get

Built by bail agents, for bail agents.

Submit from anywhere

Submit bonds to any participating jail in your authorized counties through one platform. Your submission board shows only the jails where you’re registered. No more juggling fax numbers and county-specific portals.

Verified once, trusted every submission

Identity verification through Persona at signup. License status checked daily against state regulators. Your verified signature and the Submit Bonds trust mark are applied to every submission automatically — no per-submission stamping or rescanning.

Faster acceptance, fewer rejections

Pre-submission validation catches issues before the jail does. License flags, jurisdiction mismatches, and document quality problems surface in your queue, not in a rejection notice.

A real audit trail you can show

Every submission, power, and status change is logged with timestamp and actor. When a forfeiture or dispute requires reconstruction, your record is intact and exportable.

Power of attorney custody

How powers work today, and what’s coming.

Today — Wet-ink signatures and monthly mail-back.

The default workflow remains hand-signed Power of Attorney forms with monthly mail-back of original paper powers to your surety. This is the established custody model that protects against fraudulent reuse and is required until your surety and the receiving jail enroll in electronic powers.

Coming soon — Electronic powers.

For sureties enrolled in the electronic-powers program and jails accepting electronic submissions, paper power custody is replaced with cryptographic verification. The Submit Bonds submission system will indicate which mode applies for each submission. Until both your carrier and jurisdiction are electronic-powers-enabled, the wet-ink signature and monthly mail-in workflow remains in effect.

You’ll be notified when your carrier and jurisdiction become electronic-powers-eligible. No action required on your part to be ready.

FAQ

Common questions from agents.

How long does approval take?

For verified licensees with confirmed jail registrations, Administrator approval typically completes within one business day.

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Applications are free. Platform fees apply per submission once your account is active; specific fees depend on your surety’s deployment and any pass-through structure your carrier has configured.

What if my license is in a state Submit Bonds™ doesn’t yet operate in?

Submit Bonds is expanding nationwide as carrier deployments add new states. Apply with your current state license; we’ll notify you when your state becomes available.

Can I use Submit Bonds™ if I work with multiple sureties?

Yes. Your submission board reflects all sureties you’re appointed by. Power authority and electronic-powers eligibility are configured per surety.

What happens if my license expires or is suspended?

Submit Bonds checks license status daily against state regulators. License lapse triggers automatic account suspension. Restoration occurs when the underlying license issue is resolved with the state and reflected in the next daily check.

Can I submit bonds in jurisdictions where I’m not jail-registered?

No. Submission privileges are scoped to the counties and states where you’re licensed and jail-registered. Attempted submissions outside your authorized jurisdictions are rejected.

What if my surety isn’t on Submit Bonds™?

You can still apply. Submit Bonds accepts agents from any qualified surety. Electronic powers require your surety to enroll separately; paper-power workflow is available regardless.
